this actually doesnt seem like an issue looking at the tengu, and also comparing to the other fighting orientated CS, astarte does more and sleipnir about the same but with better dmg on small targets.
dont see the issue.
its comparing its current form with a drake, thats laughable.

But the other CS compare with their t1 hulls far more favorably. The NH does not, in fact i would guess that a drake setup to fit a link and pvp fittings, would end up with very similar results fo what a 200m premium?

Great idea. Would avoid any trouble with uninteded HAM fittings. Not that I would use them, but it would definatly cause some whine from EFT warriors.
I agree. I have read all the replies and this turned into a good if a little flamish, debate on if theres an issue. Im with the general public on the extra launcher, i didnt honestly think it was as nessery as grid attention.
Perhaps the gang link reqs are simply too high in the first place?

Ever hear of CPU? You need a co-pro AND 5% implant with all T2 mods.
It cannot fit it both CPU AND grid wise, possibly, ever, with 425s without lol fitting mods sacrifices. So you really are talking bs here if you want your NH to fit one and fit HAMs on top without fitting mods.

a sliep can fit 220s a link, mwd, injector AND named X-L shield booster with just a co-po fitting mod, or a large t2 booster with a 4th dmg mod with oodles of grid left.

Wait, it needs a fitting mod - wasn't someone just trolling how NH is bad because it can't fit biggest guns, a proper PVP setup, and a warfare link without fitting mods and ergo needs something lol as 300 more grid?

220s not being highest tier guns? Check.
NAMED shield booster? Check.
mandatory fitting mod just like NH? Check.

Sleip needs a fitting mod to fit an X-L and whats funny about fitting a large, tryed fitting an X-L on a decent NH fit with mwd injector close range weapons etc? and the large shield booster setup fits thats 4th gyro INSTEAD of a fitting mod.
edit: even if a X-L extender existed the NH couldnt fit it. HAMs and HMLs are the only of their kind theres no teirs to them. Besides this thread isnt about what the sleip can fit its what the NH should be able to as standard.

Yeah. Takes two RCUs, a IFFA instead of T2 DC, and a 3% CPU implant.
go start a "Sleip cant fit a link and artys comfortably" thread then or are you fitting that BS booster still?

The nighthawk does in fact need a bit more grid but not an extra launcher.

Hey CCP any chance of slipping the NH a wee bit more grid, or you planning a general tweaking patch, im sure a few other less popular ships need some love too.
